Nador transmitter is the main transmission facility for longwave and shortwave of Medi 1 Radio, a privately owned broadcasting company of Morocco. It is situated approximately 18 kilometres south of the city of Nador and a few kilometres south of Selouane at 35°2'29"N and 2°55'7"W.

The longwave transmitter of Nador transmitter, which works on 171 kHz. has a transmission power of 2000 kilowatts. It is also the FM transmitter for the Nador-region on 99,9 Mhz[4] As antenna, a directional antenna consisting of three guyed masts, each 380 metres tall, is used. These masts are arranged in a row, which points approximately to north northwest.. Following the demolition of the OMEGA Navigation System in Paynesville, Liberia in 2011,[5] the Nador transmitter became (again) the tallest structure in Africa.[6]

Besides the high masts there is also a complex of lower masts with horizontal antenna wires on the site for mediumwave transmissions.
